Private Lessons

 |
 |
Dogs 6 months and older
Current on all vaccinations
|
 |
|
Private lessons are times set up with the instructor of your choice to work on specific skills. The student must contact the instructor themselves and set up a mutually agreed upon time. Costs are up to the individual instructors.
You can ask your instructor what skill they feel you need more work with, but you as the handler need to begin to recognize those skills that are a weak point for you and your canine team.
Also, be prepared to arrive early and assist with setting up equipment that will be needed for your session. Helping to set equipment and help out is a huge part of agility, so be prepared to be asked to help set up those items which will be needed for your session.

Agility is a skill/game with your dog that takes practice to get proficient. Agility is not a skill
that can be learned in one class. If your dog is not highly food motivated, then I suggest do not feed
him/her until after class. Or if you use a toy as a reward for your dog, please bring his/her
favorite along!!
Future classes and skill levels will be added as interest and the club grows!
We welcome human guests--either family/friends of students, or prospective students--at all regularly scheduled Flying Paws classes or open practices. You might want to bring a chair, as there is no provided seating near our training ring.
If you would like to bring your dog to observe a class, please contact us first. In rare cases, we might not be able to accommodate canine vistors for a specific session. Please note that in no case will any dog be allowed in the training ring, or on any obstacles, other than dogs belonging to members, dogs currently enrolled in a class, or dogs who have a pre-arranged private lesson or evaluation scheduled with one of our trainers. All dogs enrolled in classes are only allowed on equipment while supervised during classes.
