Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd

Morning 9:00 am – 12 pm and Afternoon 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Morgan has been doing agility for about 20 years and is a 26-time national finalist in AKC, USDAA, and UKI and has won 4 national agility championships with placements in many more. Morgan has also won and placed at many cup, classic, and regional events with multiple dogs and accumulated numerous championship titles across multiple dogs as well. She has worked with various breeds and is excellent at troubleshooting issues that may arise in training and has a great eye for fine-tuning handling skills. Morgan is comfortable teaching a wide range of experience levels in agility and works regularly with first-time agility students as well as experienced competitors who actively compete at the highest levels of agility. Morgan is highly sensitive to the dog’s well-being and emotional state and is excellent at problem solving arousal and stress behaviors in dog agility. Overall, Morgan is great at adjusting to the teams in front of her and pushing each team to improve based on their specific needs and agility goals.

Prerequisites:  Dog must be at least one year old, and able to sequence 8-10 jumps/tunnels

DAY ONE:  ALL WORKING SPOTS ARE FULL

Day 1, AM (9:00 am – 12 pm) Session (Advanced):  International Handling

  • This is an upper-level session suitable for those competing at the master’s level with the desire to be pushed outside your comfort zone! Work through commonly seen elements in international coursework and determine the best and fastest handling options. Additionally, discuss the necessary skills to get through Premier, ISC or UKI-type course work.

Day 1, PM (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm) Session: Skills & Drills (All Levels)

  • Suitable for any dog at any level as long as they are sequencing jumps and tunnels. Masters level challenges will be featured, but sequences can be broken down into small sections for less experienced teams. Workshop will focus on handling; discovering the best and fastest lines and fine-tuning skills.

DAY TWO: WORKING SPOTS AVAILABLE

Day 2, AM (9:00 am – 12 pm) Session (Advanced):  Send & Go

  • Learn how to build commitment, see commitment, and get to where you need to be on course as quickly as possible. Learn how to find the fastest and best lines and handling options for you and your dog. Dogs must be comfortable sequencing jumps and tunnels to participate.

Day 2, PM (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm) Session: What Cross Where?

  • Blind, front, or rear?! We’ll talk through the differences in crosses, when each one is appropriate, and what difference they will make in your dog’s line. Learn how to read dog lines better and predict what they may do on course and how you can manipulate their path with an appropriate cross. Dogs must be sequencing jumps and tunnels to participate.
