TEMPORARY DIRECTIONS THROUGH NOVEMBER 2022
The construction has started and Simpson Chapel Road is now closed, and a lot of people will need to start using alternate routes to get to the barn. The information below is what we know at this time. As things change, we will provide updates.
At this time, Bottom Road is still OPEN, so if that’s your current route, you can continue to come that way.
If coming from the west, such as the Linton area, your current route should still be OPEN at this time.
For most people, our suggested route is to take the Sample Road exit, but they will go East, rather than west. I have included a couple of map snippets, or the main intersection areas, and hopefully that will help.
From the South
- From I69 take the Sample Road exit, and turn right (East) at the 1st roundabout (East on Sample)
- At the second roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto N. Wayport Road (heading toward Oliver Winery).
- Continue on N. Wayport Road (about 4 miles) until it T’s at E. Chambers Pike.
- Turn left on E. Chambers Pike (you will cross 69 shortly after the turn) and go .4 miles.
- Turn right onto W. Dittemore Road, go 1.1 miles
- Turn right onto N. Denny/W Dittemore Road, go .3 miles
- Turn left onto Bottom Road
- Barn on your right.
From the North

From the East Side of Bloomington
Unless you’re far enough north that it would be closer to take Old 37 to E. Chambers Pike, we recommend using either of the routes listed above from I69.

From North: Hwy 37 S to Sample Rd exit. Turn left on Simpson Chapel Rd, to tee at Bottom Rd. Turn right on Bottom Rd. Barn about 1 mile on left.
From South: Hwy 37 N to Sample Rd exit. Go to third exit of the first roundabout and cross the bridge. Take the second exit of the second roundabout. Turn left on Simpson Chapel Rd, to tee at Bottom Rd. Turn right on Bottom Rd. Barn about 1 mile on left.
